Welcome to CBKTS

We teach English to the community of Kampong Tralach.

Speaking English is essential for a better future.

our story

Established in 2014 to combat poverty in a community with few job opportunities.

Rural families depend on one member finding a good job.

In rural Cambodia, there are very few jobs available with families relying on agriculture or construction work.

For better job security, young adults opt for factory work. But with long hours and low wages, they are working harder for less.

We believe in an alternative.

But good jobs in the cities demand English and computer skills.

And poorly funded public schools fail to equip students with these. Most students don’t have access to computers until it’s too late.

We support students from the age of five, right up to securing their first job.

We begin teaching English early and follow our students through their journey to adulthood.

Once they become teenagers, we introduce the students to computer lessons and begin developing their IT skills.

Then after graduation, we support our students with CV building classes, interview preparation and a strong network to ensure they can land their first job.

These students need your help.

Your time and skills can change a student’s future. By volunteering, you’re giving them the chance to learn, grow, and break free from poverty.
