Not at all! As long as you can speak English at a conversational level, the students will benefit enormously from your stay.
Yes. Please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate you.
To get to the village you have two main options.
The first is a tuk-tuk which you can take you from anywhere in Phnom Penh directly to Pos Searey’s home. This option costs about $20. We have a few drivers that we recommend so please contact Pos Searey for more information.
The second is to take a bus from Phnom Penh towards Kampong Chhnang and ask the bus driver to drop you off at Kampong Tralach, Sala Lekh Pram market. Then we can collect you via motorcycle. This option costs about $8.50. The company SalyVIP runs this route almost hourly. Be sure to contact Pos Searey to arrange pick-up from Sala Lekh Pram.
Yes! If teaching is not your style, we need help promoting the school through social media marketing, photographers or content writers for blog posts.
We also have construction projects around the local community such as fishing conservation and building educational spaces. However, these are on a more ad-hoc basis. Please contact Pos Searey for information.
